Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Road trip! If you are driving from Florida to South Carolina, and then you have to be in Tennessee soon after, why not stay in the car and take a few detours? I was a little girl when I last visited the Great Smoky Mountains. I still felt small in the company of the mountains.

It was a gorgeous day for a drive.

Some THING is eating my receipts

So there I was at a corner cafe in West Philadelphia waiting for my meeting when I witnessed first-hand what was eating the receipts I have been so carefully collecting for the IRS. Gotcha!

A road trip smile

I attended a conference in Baltimore, Maryland and we decided it would be a fun road trip so we drove. What should we spy on the road going home? A smiling caravan. We passed it and discovered that the smile was not necessarily intentional given the overall design, but it was still quite pleasing!
